Inspired by positive psychology–and intent on living a full day every day–I’ve been asking myself the following questions:
- How was today pleasant? What did I find pleasing? What was fun, exciting, or pleasurable?
- How was today good? What did I accomplish using my skills and strengths? What were my achievements?
- How was today meaningful? What was most fulfilling? What had real significance? How did I make a contribution to the greater good?
It’s hard not to feel more positive once you’ve thought about all the things to appreciate on any given day.
Once I’ve honestly answered these questions, I know I’ve done my best to live a full day.
And I’m ready for more!
