I literally crossed the bridge today, which I’d been eying for a while (didn’t know that’s how ‘eying’ was spelled; weird word!) .
According to thefreedictionary.com, “I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it” is something that you say in order to tell someone that you will not worry about a possible problem but will deal with it if it happens, which is what I’ve been putting into practice.
As I crossed the bridge, I found the contrast between the bulky, rusted bridge and drifting, ephemeral clouds poignant.
