You’re the One for Me, Fatty

We call this cat literally “fatty”, but in Laotian that’s a term of endearment. It sounds something like “Thuey.” She’s quite a beauty.

When I first got to the shop, I couldn’t tell which cat was which. My dad said that Thuey didn’t get along with either boy or girl cats. She would disappear for the whole day, then come running back home in the evening.

We’ve grown fond of each other. She’s even started to stay at the shop during the day. You’re the one for me, Fatty.
